Horseback riding excursions and adventures in Tenerife FINCA CABUQUERO

When booking your excursions it is important that we prepare the correct horses for you to ride, so we need to know your exact experience level , please be honest and upfront about your training levels (if you are a beginner, intermediate, you can trot comfortably without hanging on to the saddle or the experienced and 100% confident rider in the canter as we do not mix experience level), heights and weights, as we have a weight limit for each horse and have different horses for different riding levels.

Our weight limit is 16.5/104 kg or 231 lbs.

Our busiest times of the year are Easter, July, August, October half term, Christmas and New Year so it is highly advisable to book at least 2 weeks or more in advance as we get things very quickly.

If we get a group of mixed levels, we normally ride at the base level with the lowest skill as there may be others on the same trek, unless you want to book the private trek, for a small extra cost, where the experienced rider can retain where it is suitable to do a trot or canter to recover, this is only available for adult advanced riders who have a lot of riding experience, please let us know if you would like this option, when you book your trek with us (this is not a option for intermediate cyclists). Private treks can be booked for different reasons, for advanced cyclists who want to go a little faster, for a special occasion and with COVID people book this, so they don't mix with different people, at the time of booking please let us know the reason for the private trek. For beginners or people who haven't cycled for a long time we recommend the 1 hour or 1.5 hour trek. For children aged 10 years and under we only offer the 1 hour trek, as we do not walk together helping them on longer treks and longer treks are not suitable for younger children. . All our treks go up hills so if you are afraid of heights you must inform us at the time of booking. In regards to clothing we recommend that you bring leggings, long trousers or shorts and trainers, please no flip flops, rock shoes, crocs or sandals. We have a small selection of boots to borrow along with a good range of helmets which must be worn at all times.

For large groups it is necessary to book in advance and although there are children who need to be accompanied on tethered horses and a conductor on foot, we must ensure we have sufficient staff and private excursions are available on request.
